1. Who we are
Wow Cut Video ("we", "us", "our") is a web service that automates video clip generation and subtitle creation. Contact: [email protected]
2. What data we collect
- Account data — your name, email address, and profile picture obtained via Google OAuth when you sign in.
- Usage data — video URLs or files you submit, processing job status, and clip output files.
- Payment data — subscription status and payment confirmations via WayForPay. We do not store card numbers.
- Technical data — browser type, IP address, and server logs retained for up to 30 days.
3. How we use your data
- To authenticate you and maintain your account.
- To process your videos and return results.
- To manage your subscription and payment history.
- To improve the service and diagnose technical issues.
4. Data retention
Processed video files and transcripts are automatically deleted after 7 days. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time by emailing us.
5. Third-party services
- Google OAuth — used for sign-in. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
- Groq API — audio transcription. Your audio may be processed on Groq's servers.
- OpenRouter — AI analysis. Text content may be processed on OpenRouter's servers.
- WayForPay — payment processing. We do not receive or store your card data.
- DigitalOcean — cloud hosting. Data is stored on servers in the EU.
6. Cookies
We use only technically necessary cookies (session token). We do not use advertising or analytics cookies. No cookie consent banner is required.
7. Your rights (GDPR)
If you are in the EU/EEA, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Request correction or deletion of your data.
- Object to processing or request restriction.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
